Every piece is thoughtfully designed and crafted in Manila, while our signature handwoven fabrics are created by our artisan partners from Iloilo, Negros Occidental, Negros Oriental, Lanao del Sur, and Zamboanga. Together, we develop exclusive textiles that are unique to our brand while honoring the heritage and craftsmanship of each weaving community.

A Thoughtful Approach to Sustainability

As a slow fashion brand, Monica Madrigal believes sustainability begins with thoughtful design. We create timeless pieces that are meant to be worn and cherished for years.

We work closely with Filipino weaving communities, many of whom weave using 100% Philippine-grown cotton, supporting both local artisans and the country's cotton industry. We also use natural fibers such as linen and cotton-linen blends.

Each garment is produced locally in small batches by our partner seamstresses, ensuring exceptional craftsmanship, lasting quality, and a more mindful approach to fashion.

Meet the Designer

Monica Madrigal is a Filipino fashion and textile designer with a passion for sustainability and Philippine craftsmanship.

​

She studied Fashion Design and Textile Design in Manila, Philippines and in Paris, France. She worked as a fashion designer for several years for a Filipino retail brand then completing textile design internships abroad. Inspired by the beauty of Philippine handwoven textiles, she returned home to create a brand that celebrates local weaving traditions through contemporary womenswear.
